Curriculum/Academics
Students at Dade Middle School are divided into two teams per grade level (Gold and Maroon). Each team spends five class periods each day in the five basic academic areas:
- Language Arts
- Mathematics
- Reading
- Science
- Social Studies
Students also have the opportunity to participate in the following "Connections" classes during their educational career at the middle school:
- Art
- Band
- Chorus
- Citizenship
- Computer Keyboarding
- Physical Education
- Study Skills
Dade Middle School also offers a full slate of special needs classes.
A special Skills for Adolescence (SFA) class is available, providing extra assistance in reading and mathematics.
The middle school also offers a high-quality After School Program for those student with homework needs and/or extra assistance with classwork.
